International Jewish Student Center of Boston

OUR VISION

The International Jewish Student Center of Boston (IJSC) was founded by Rabbi Hirschy Zarchi as a division of Chabad Lubavitch of Cambridge. It is a home away from home for students from around the world.

Students from the world over come to Greater Boston to study at the great schools here. It's easy to get lost.

About us

Our Inspiration

The Rebbe

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of righteous memory

At the International Center, students find each other and bond with what they have in common: Jewish traditions and values.

Here you will find a place to hang out with friends and meet new ones, as well as discuss a philosophical Torah thought or enjoy a scrumptious meal.

OUR MISSION

The International Jewish Student Center of Boston is dedicated to providing an open door environment for strengthening and enhancing Jewish values and identity for everyone, regardless of background, philosophy or level of commitment.

The International Center promotes education and growth in all areas, through every interaction.

The International Center serves students looking for an accepting and personalized Jewish experience.

The International Center seeks to provide “Judaism with a Smile” and a home away from home for everyone who walks through its doors.

It is our core belief that every individual Jew has an indispensable contribution to make to the totality of the Jewish people. Predicated on the Mitzvah of "Ahavat Yisrael - Love of a Fellow Jew," Chabad seeks to engage fellow Jews at their own pace and comfort level through innovative educational programs in all areas of Jewish life.
